The first road to recovery is admitting that you have a problem.
So here is my confession.
I HAVE A PROBLEM! I HAVE NO MOTIVATION!!
See this girl below? This is how I look like when I think about the mountain of work I have to do to catch up on my social media and design projects.
On a scale of 1-5, 1 being the lowest and 5 the highest, my motivation level is 0.5. The .5 is for actually admitting my problem instead of burying my head like the gif above. Also, for researching a way to do this on my own proactively in a sustainable manner.
So how do I help myself and fix this self deprecating? Enter #DS106.
I was lurking through Twitter earlier today and found inspiration from a few social media influencers’ websites.
Their content were mesmerizing and a burst of new found inspiration flowed through me like rays of the sun breaking away from looming clouds. The angels were singing and tulips bloomed proudly. Well…I’m sure they were…somewhere.
This is exactly what I have been waiting….aheeem…procrastinating for.
In design, the best way to grow confidence is to learn.
The best way to learn is through repetition.
Practice. Practice. Practice.
So without further hesitation, I’m going to sign up to #DS106 with this blog post and let the course begin.
Let’s do this!
